Ray Juncosa

Ray Juncosa is an active consultant and Managing Director for Transparency Advisors LLC, a business risk consulting company with global reach and specializing in the areas of Integrity Risk, Legal Risk and Security Risk. At Transparency, he has been involved in many key projects on behalf of financial institutions and other firms including, audit and compliance related projects as well as forensic, litigation and investigative matters. He has also managed many customized training projects. Mr. Juncosa is also very active with the Center for Financial Training, the training arm for the American Bankers Association and also as an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College where he still teaches today. For Mr. Juncosa, teaching has always been his passion, second only to banking. He is a seasoned banking professional whose banking expertise and experience stretch out to a period of over three decades. He is also an academic, as evidenced by his over 16 years as an instructor for CFT.

Mr. Juncosa has held senior level and division head positions in several recognized banks out of state, locally and foreign owned. He truly speaks the financial language by having held positions on both sides of the balance sheet, as a senior lender, private banker and wealth manager. The latter has equipped him with a very strong overall knowledge and experience in financial services through his knowledge and expertise in lending, private banking, investments, compliance and training. His experience and past positions has led him to be a world traveler, by traveling to over 47 countries where he engaged in business development, training symposiums and important business negotiations.

Mr. Juncosa has always valued knowledge and training and has held licenses such as Series 7, 63, 215, mortgage and ACAMS certification, which he completed in 2006. Although originally from New York, he is a local boy, having moved down to Miami in 1967 and graduated from Barry University. He later graduated from Graduate School of Banking at LSU, while actively as a banking executive and where he was awarded the BANKSIM award; the only award given for highest recognition in bank management.
